My Makeup Stash

Hello people,
The weather is changing in north india. The morning and evening air has a slight chill indicating the approach of winters!!! As the days grow shorter and nights longer, it is a little challenging to convince my toddler to dress up in warmer clothes and use a blanket at night.

OK, so lets move on with my post for the day. Did I ever mention than before being a mom and wife, I was a makeup admirer. Today if I think if there was no makeup in my life then it would be a very dull existence. Makeup is not just my passion, its my favorite pastime and hobby. And boy am I thankful to all the cosmetics sitting inside my dressing table for keeping me from going insane as a working mother.

MAC "Geo Pink" lipglass review

Hello people,

I got a creamsheen lipglass (part of my weekend haul) from the MAC Semi Precious Collection. So, I thought I should do a product review for you guys as well.
First, a little about the collection: It includes 12 eyeshadows, 4 mineralize skinfinishes, 3 mineralize blushes, 4 Lipsticks, 5 Cremesheen Glasses, Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara, Mineralize Satinfinish SPF15 Foundation, and Mineralize Face+Body Lotion.
Many blogs have recommended "Subtropic" lipglass launcehed along with this collection. I tried to locate it at various MAC stores, but couldnot find it. Even MAC website does not mention this about this lipglass. I was disappointed but the friendly MUA at the store suggested Geo Pink. I swatched it and voila had to get it.

Shopping experience at healthkart

Hello people,

Hope your day is going well. Mine is not so much. Well, this may be partly because of one of the popular online shopping websites HEALTHKART. I have been recommending everyone to order from this site, but sadly they have disappointed me this time.
I have ordered twice from this site. First time I received my order within two days even when it was cash on delivery.
This second time, I paid via net banking, ordered stuff on Nov. 22, 2011, received shipping confirmation on 24th Nov, 2011, and till date have not received it from their end, with no response apart from "you will receive it today". I called them today, they asked me to send an email to info@healthkart.com but nothing has been done so far.

Hello people, let's begin by praising the onset of winters in most of north India.
Today's post is about a few of my favorite products which have helped me time and again to achieve a clean and glowing complexion.
Everyone loves to have a healthy complexion. I had good skin genetically, but soon I realized that makeup needs a good base to adhere to, in other words makeup requires good skin. So, I started cleansing and moisturizing routine during my school days with a face wash and cream (Both Pond's as it was mum's favorite brand).
Most of us these days, tend to neglect our skin primarily due to our busy lifestyles.So, I follow a very basic ritual twice a day, everyday.
