I usually have 2 deodorants in my body care kit so that I don’t get bored with one J. Few weeks back I was on a hunt of a replacement of one of my deodorants and considering my past experience with the night cream (reviewed here) I thought of trying something from Oriflame. I got a product catalogue from my parlour lady and she also told me about the various offers going on that month. I noticed their Silk Beauty collection and a very nice summery looking White Glow APD and bought it.

MAC RicePaper EyeShadow Review

First things first, am going to post the nails of the week tomorrow, couldn't upload the pics today. So girlz, meet the nails of the week tomorrow. So sorry for this :(
What comes to your mind, if I ask you to list the five things, which you would always, always keep buying. For me the things are Cinnabon, jewellery, kajal, books, and MAC ricepaper eyeshadow (you know now how materialistic I am, :)).
So, how did the last one make it to this list?? I was on the lookout for a good higlighter since aeons, and read a lot of reviews on highlighters. The only name that propped up for the most number of times was MAC ricepaper, and ta da purchased this on my birthday from MAC.

MAC describes the eye shadow as Peachy Gold with shimmer. It's a frost finish eye shadow.

REVIEW: Oriflame Grape antioxidant night cream

My parlour lady is an Oriflame rep and always claims very high of their products (not all the products) and their super effects. And as my old night cream had started seeming little too oily for summers (though was working fine in winters), I asked her about night creams and she suggested me a Grape antioxidant night cream for combination skin.

I was little sceptical at that time as I had never used any Oriflame products before, but when she told me that these products are full of natural ingredients, I thought of giving it a try.

Hey People,

A hair product review after a long, long time. I have heard rave reviews about Soulflower products on a lot of blogs, and had purchased this shampoo bar as a part of my birthday hauls (shown here) and then completely forgot about it.  But, while I was cleaning out my stuff, I remembered this shampoo bar and put it to good use. After about two weeks of usage I am ready to review this for you guys.

My Anushka (Canon Ad) Inspired Smokey Eye Look

Nails of the week: MINT !!!

We have arrived at Wednesday, which for me marks the fun weekend being away by just two days. And also, marks for all of us here the Nails of the Week.

MINT is a big trend worldwide currently for shoes, belts, bags, apparel, and even nail paints. Most of you would recall that I asked one of my friends for MINT nail paint from KIKO cosmetics, Italy (shown here), which I am reviewing today.

My ITALIAN (Cosmetics) HAUL

Hi everyone,

Recently one of my friends went to ITALY for a vacation, and we were both super excited by this news. Next both of us searched on and on for Italian Cosmetic brands and found KIKO being listed on most of the blogs. I prepared a list of products and gave her to bring home, and she very sweetly obliged me. So, as soon as she landed in Milan, she went and looked for KIKO and got all stuff for me.

This is what I got: crystal sheer lipstick (tropical orange), Soft Touch blush (gold fishing), and a mint green nail paint.

My (biggest ever) Nail products Haul

Ever since using the Konad Nail Art Starter kit, I have been obssessed with trying out a different nail art every other day. So much so that I decided to order some more image plates from Konad.

Urbantouch has the largest collection of image plates as far as I was concerned, though the ones which I wanted were out of stock. So, I have ordered the other two image plates (m69 and m79) which had quiet good designs, which I would love to see on my nails, a few nail paints, and a mini stamper and scraper:

Goodness Added to MAC Fluidline

Hey Girlz,

Today I am showing off reviewing another MAC fluidline, which was a part of Shop MAC Cook MAC collection and my haul (shown here). Love the name of the collection.

MAC describes the color as blackened mauve and to me it looks like a mixture of brown, black as well as grey with some golden flecks in between.

5 Must Have Products for Summers

I am sure all of you would be enjoying all summery things right now, such as cola, ice creams, lollies and what not!! But apart from all these icy delights, all of you must be having a list of some essential summer products you can't do without.

1. MAC Fuidline in Waveline (review here): Am loving this one so much, almost wearing this day in and day out. It has replaced all my pencil liners :), love the texture, ease of application, staying power, and the color.

With an active kid, you have to manage your time such that the kid also doesn't feel neglected. So, time management is the key, which is the topic for another post. But it has a little to do here as well. As all women, me too want to look put together at home as well as in office without having to spend more than 5 minutes daily. So, what did I do, I got the LUST lipglass from MAC, which has made me achieve both.

Nails of the Week: Purple and Silver Nail Art

It's time again for the nails of the week. since getting the Konad stamping kit I just can't stop stamping, it's so easy and so much fun and I just love to see the beautiful patterns on my nails.So, I was geeting a little adventurous and wanted to use something other than the white nail polish which came with the kit. So, I have used the Lakme Metallics nail paint 039, worked fine and it was easier to pick up the design with this nail paint.

The weather has suddenly turned on its heat, which was till now very cool and sweet and I am enjoying the summers here in North India. Hope all of you are enjoying your time and activities.

I am simply a scrub addict, which I have not disclosed till now, love scrubbing my skin and face. Then, one fine day I was introduced to the world of body scrubs and I have been an addict till now and mostly forever. I simply love body scrubs. The Body Shop scrubs I feel are more suited to Indian winters for me as my skin is more of combination / normal tending to be oily during summers. But come summers and I am a complete fan of sugar scrubs. They just give your body the most sensuous scrub ever and leave it oh so soft !

I am reviewing my latest sugar scrub from Victoria's secret, which I purchased from Goodlife (next I am eyeing Bath and Bodyworks stuff from them)

Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture Review

How was your weekend, mine was good considering that I went for some bridal trousseau shopping for a family wedding, which is to take place next month. As the time was quiet short, we went to South Extension. Some really cool sari shops there with a host of options. We checked out Nalli’s my all time favorite, the pieces there are not only authentic but they are reasonably priced. Visit Nalli for some really cool traditional outfits.

Then we moved ahead and found Ushnak Mal Sari shop, there are now so many there, but I visit the one closest to the Bengali Sweets. The ground floor has a plethora of ready to wear suits and anarkali, and bridal lehngas. The first floor stocks Saris. You name the variety and they have it. Very classy pieces and designer saris as well. They have never failed to disappoint me in variety and designs. Overall, I was quiet happy with the purchases made, and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

So, coming to the product under review, it’s Neutrogena oil free moisture with SPF 15. I am using this product for more than two years now and it is one of my Holy Grail products.

With mother's day just round the corner, I thought of getting some resents for two moms in my life (my mom as well as mom-in-law).Wanted to add some fun and color in their makeup kits, making sure not to overdo it and still get them into the color mode :)

Went to pantaloons, they have some great offers running on all makeup brands. Stopped at the Revlon counter. Have scratch cards on each purchase of INR 1000 and above. The minimum you get is a velvet touch lipstick. So the pic below is what I bought for them, a colorburst lipgloss each and a one stroke eyeliner (looked impressive on swatching and the color was difficult to remove with cleansing milk also, have to try more shades now :)). Got two scratch cards, both having lipsticks, chose the shade voluptous berry, which I am again gifting to both of them.

Olay Moisturising Cream Review

So, we are almost there, another week gone and another weekend coming up. Sometimes, I feel like breaking away from this rut of weekdays and weekends, but to no avail. With an upcoming family wedding, a vacation seems like a distant dream, but something which is surely on the cards this year.

Coming to the product under review today, Olay moisturizing cream. This product holds special childhood memories for me as my mom used this when I was a kid. I just loved how it smelled on my mum and after all these years cherished that memory. So, when I saw this on an online shopping website, the memories came back flooding and I decided to pick this up.

MAC Expensive Pink EyeShadow Review, EOTD, FOTD

Today I am reviewing my first ever eye shadow from MAC, expensive pink. Generally touted as must have as, it goes with indian attire, especially indian wedding attire.

The eyeshadow is a very pretty peachy pinky shade with very fine golden shimmers (I feel it looks like an eyeshadow version of NARS-O under artificial light, but maybe I am wrong) with no fallout whatsoever.
