AromaMagic Beauty Pack Review

Hello Girls,

How are you doing today, the sudden weather change has prompted my skin to behave all funny. It went all dry and patchy on one hand along with a lot of breakouts. So, I went looking for a good face pack, which could take care of my skin. While browsing online I came across this face pack, which included AHA's in the ingredient list.

Clean and Clear Morning Energy Energizing Lemon Face Wash Review

Hello Girls,

Hope you all are doing fine. I am not posting a NOTW today, cause of some issues with blogger, but I am definitely posting about a face wash, which many of us would have used by now. It's from one of my favorite brands when I was a teenager, Clean & Clear.

MAC ProlongWear LipCreme Dear Diary Review, Swatches

Hello Girls,

Time for some fun colors on lips, I don't think so... The summer collections by MAC launch in India by Autumn and it totally takes away the fun of using bright colors. Case in point, MAC Dear Diary ProlongWear LipCreme, which was a part of the MAC Beth Dittoo Collection, launched here in September/October.

Clinique High Impact Mascara Review

Hello Girls,

Hope you are having a nice day, it has started getting chilly here and I am quite liking it for the time being as the sun is till out. But I am also dreading those days when there would not be any sun here and it would be all dull, grey, and foggy :(. Hope those days are few and far in between. But, what I love about those days is some dark chocolate, some warmers, and smokey eyes with loads of mascara.

I have recently found a fabulous mascara in my October Vellvette Box (read HERE). The mascara is from Clinique and names High Impact Mascara.

Natural Eye Makeup with Lancome Magic Voyage Pallete

Hello Girls,

How was your weekend. Mine was good except for "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". The movie seemed to drag on forever with me waiting for it to end during the last half an hour. Though I liked the performances and the direction, half an hour could easily be chopped off from the movie.

Anyways, I decided to do an eye makeup tutorial, which I was wearing for this outing. As I prefer natural makeup when visiting malls and watching movies, so this one is also a very natural eye look.

My Festive Manicure

Hello Girls,

Hope you had a fun and safe Diwali. Even as I hear the dying sounds of a few crackers going up in the air this morning, I was itching to share a new nail art technique I tried yesterday for my Festive Manicure.

The technique is known as sponging nail art and gives a beautiful gradient / ombre effect on the nails. I have used the following nail colors for creating the manicure and a makeup sponge.

Festive Makeup Tutorial: Bronzed Gold

Hello ladies,

This is the second of the festive makeup tutorials I came up with (read the first one HERE). For this one I decides to stick with gold and brown / bronze eye colors, as this look could be paired with any sort of blingy outfit and make you look glamorous. The makeup itself is simple to do and would look good with most of your festive outfits.

Starting off with the products used:

Festive Makeup Tutorial: Silver and Blue

Hello Girls,

Since the festivities are right upon us, I decided to do two makeup tutorials for Diwali. Since here in India we are always wearing bling in our festive clothes, I decided the makeup to match the bling. While playing around with colors I had in my kitty, I came up with a silver and blue eye makeup, which I think would look great paired with all-white / all silver outfits. I hope you girls like the tutorial.

So, let's begin with the products used for the look:

My 1st Haul Post

Guest Post by Gurpreet

Hello Girls!

I am relatively new to this world of beauty, cosmetics and related blogs, and as I am noticing myself, I have been kinda addicted to reading these blogs daily. I love tips, tutorials, and DIY stuff, and last but not the least – Hauls, who doesn’t like shopping.

So, here is my first ever haul post. Few weeks back, I purchased a Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Cherry Kiss, Lotus Herbals Color Dew nail paint in Deep Sea 86, Lotus Herbals Purestay lip gloss in Darling Lavender, and a Lakme fruit moisturizer in Peach Milk. The Lotus Herbals stuff I got from their website itself at a whopping 50% discount. :-D Since these baby lips balm was unavailable online, I had to get it from a NewU store and the Lakme moisturizer was part of my friends order from medplusbeauty. Enjoy the pictures!!

Restaurant Review: Rajdhani

Hello Ladies,

Today there are celebrations at the Office :). I love that everyone is in ethnic wear and looking their festive best. I have worn a suit today, hope to share some pics by tomorrow.

Even before, celebrations started at home and around the nation, my group of friends decided to have a Diwali Lunch, by no means a potluck, we decided to go out. The place we chose was Rajdhani. some of you might have heard about it and some of you might not have.

Rajdhani has an interesting concept, basically they serve unlimited Gujrati thalis. .Most of you would have heard about Chowki Dhani, but this is a gujrati version of the same. Feast your eyes on the thali below:

Giovanni Frizz be Gone Hair Serum Swatch, Review

Hello Ladies,

My festive spirit seems to be dampened a bit by the onslaught of cold / flu. I think it's all because of this Fog/ Smog happening here. I so wish the sun would rise and shine.

A little background story before reviewing the Serum. My hair have been poker straight and shiny since time immemorial. Also I have really oily roots, so much so that I wash my hair every alternate day. Only recently, I have started noticing my hair ends becoming frizzy. Conditioners are not helping either as they make my hair greasy within a day. So, I was thinking of trying out a hair serum but was skeptical about leaving chemicals on my hair. Then while browsing online, I spotted this hair serum and bought it on impulse.

Indian Wedding Reception Eye Makeup: Step-by-Step Tutorial

Hello Girls,

Happy Weekend everyone, am having a very busy schedule over this and the next weekend as we have to go shopping, decorating, and visiting relatives for Diwali. Hopefully will be able to do some makeup shopping as well.
Recently, I had to attend a day wedding reception (you would understand this if you were a jain). I wore a mauvish pinkish Benarasi saree with silver thread work. Since the saree had all the classic elements, I decided to keep my eye makeup more towards the neutral smokey side and came up with this look. Hope you like it!!!

Let's start with the products used for the eyemakeup:

My KarvaChauth FOTD & OOTD

Hello ladies,

Wishing all of you a very happy KarvaChauth. Being a Jain (by mariiage), I don't celebrate this but have seen my mom do it since I was lil kid. It was a very fascinating festival for me, the main plus point being the henna application. I used to go with my mom and get my hands full of henna, I still love the designs so much, but sadly cannot apply henna as often as I would like to. The second good thing was that she used to eat "sargi" in the morning at which point I also used to accompany her. The only thing I didn't copy was the tough "fast".

So, coming back from the childhood memories, even though I don't fast for my hubby, I never miss an occassion to dress up. Since today is a working day, I decided to keep it simple and wore this ethnic suit to office.

The suit is high neck, pista green in color with bronze aari work embrodery and small mirrored sequins all over and on the collar. The dupatta is chiffon with bronze aari work lace as well. The suit has a bodice which is made up of net and there are kairis done with aari work.

Happy KarvaChauth to all!!!

Hello ladies,

Wishing all you brave girls out there a very Happy KarvaChauth and a blissful married life.

Starting off, the products used for this look:
